Fingernail Polish How-To: Diagonal Two Tone

 Here is a quick tutorial on how to make an easy and fun art polish design on your nails!

First, pick out two coordinating polishes. I'm using butter's Yummy Mummy and OPI's Road House Blues. You will also need Scotch tape. I find that the tape that comes in the donut (found here) is easiest to use. Start by painting your nails with the lighter of the two colors. Let dry completely. One coat works the best, but if you use two I recommend letting the polish dry overnight for best results.

Place tape across portion of nail that you would like to remain as the lighter color. I am masking off the bottom diagonal of the so my tips will be the darker color. 

 Paint nails with darker color and allow to get tacky, not completely dry, before removing the tape. Finish with a clear top coat and you now have some rockin' nails!
